my favorite place ever everything is incredible. i love the quesadillas and rice and everything is good here. i totally recommend and also amazing customer service!!
El Gallo has been around for a long time and it's great to see local businesses still around! They are still dishing out the favorites fast and hot. We usually get the steak burrito, pork burrito, and chicken quesadillas which all taste great. The rice is delicious. We have always had great customer service as well.
Great food and customer service! Love the tacos and their tortas! Just a heads up they are cash only but don't let that steer you away. The food is great and worth every penny!
I really like this place. Great service. Salsa and chips on the table if you sit down. This isn't fancy. Cash only. It's very good. Pastor(pork) is my favorite. Chicken is very flavorful and I like the way they do it. Ground beef is very good. Steak is average. Chile relleno depends on how fresh it is. I have seen it fresh and I have seen it microwaved. But if you are in the burbs looking for cheap tacos/burritos, this is a solid place.
Great taco dinners! Ingredients were fresh. We tried the steak, chicken and pastor tacos- all were flavorful. Chips and salsa dip are complimentary for dining in. Dine in or carry out options. There are approx 7 tables for dine in. Very clean place. The service was very attentive.
Serving Food and inside Dining. Good tacos and burritos they have Jarriurito's as well. Good place to grab a bite for lunch or dinner. Great quick stop. It's not refined mexican but still good. I prefer my tongue tacos cooked a little more.
I'm honestly torn between giving this place 4 and 5 stars. So let's break it down, hooked-on-phonics style: As far as restaurants go? Eh, 3 stars. As far as hole-in-the-walls go? Hard 5. Do the math and where do we land? 4 stars. Which is pretty solid if you ask me. The sopes? Solid. The tostadas? PERFECTION The burritos? Soggy, but good even so... The avocado? FReSh a'F. Plus, this ain't Shit-potle, people. The real stuff ain't extra. In conclusion: Highly recommend the tostadas--can't stress that enough. The place ain't fancy, but damn, is the food authentic.. Don't take a first date here, **especially** late at night. This hole-in-the-wall establishment appears to be well-loved by the youths of the neighborhood--anyone older than 18 may as well be carrying an AARP card after dark. BONUS TIP: they say the lengua is super good. If you're into trying new things, by all means, order it! Just don't ask them what it is or google it before you bite. I did, and I kind of regret it, because if I hadn't had asked (or at least had a few more drinks at the bar) I 10/10 would have tried it. Looked good. SPOILER ALERT: It's tongue.
